This is what a deep test looks like.
Below, a deep test runs on Fernbrook Roasters — a coffee shop we made up, with the kind of website and code a small shop really has. The sixteen parts land one after another the way they do on a real run, only a moment apart instead of minutes. Then the results, slide by slide, exactly as a customer sees them: the grade, a map of everything the test learned about the app, what was found, what we looked at twice and set aside, what to fix, and what held. Every number on this page comes from one example we wrote by hand.
