Why we exist
If you built your site yourself, nobody ever checked whether the connection is secure, whether a private file is sitting in the open, or whether a stranger can sign in as somebody else. The tools that do check those things are written for developers, and their reports read like an error log.
We run the same checks and write the result the way a good developer would explain it to a friend: what is wrong, why it matters, and what to do about it. A grade you can understand, a list you can work through.
What we promise
- Plain English, every sentence. If a line in a report needs a search engine to understand, we consider that a bug. Raw details are there for the developer you might hire, but folded away.
- We say what we could not test. A clean result from a test that could not sign in is not a clean site. Our reports carry that caveat rather than hide it.
- We hold as little of yours as we can. We never keep a key to your code, never see your card number, and the one password you give us is stored encrypted. How we keep your data safe has the details.
- Our tests are careful. The deep test sends real attacks, but they are bounded: nothing destructive, nothing outside your site, and a fixed time budget. It runs only on a site you own and have confirmed is yours.
Who we are
vibeship.eu is built and run by a small team of experts in Heidelberg, Germany, and the servers are in Germany too. Product, finance, marketing and our social channels are all handled in-house. When you write to support@vibeship.eu, the person who replies is one of the people who built the check you are asking about.
Try it
The free check needs nothing but a web address and takes about a minute. If you would rather see what the paid deep test looks like first, watch it run on a made-up coffee shop.
